Select a Poem from the List
These are my poems. I worked very hard on them.
5 Rules for using these poems:
1. You can't claim them as your own. If I found out you did this, I will come to your house and slap you in the face.
2. If you are an educator or student using these poems for class or for forensics, you just need to let me know. I will give you the green light, but I don't think an e-mail too much to ask.
3. If you are interested in publishing one of my poems in an anthology or collection, we have to have a discussion about who retainins rights and non-exclusive contracts. Don't worry, it won't be too intense.
4. If you want to read these poems in public, that's cool, but you have to tell people I wrote the thing.
5. It is not cool for you to print off these poems and give them to friends, or to cut and paste them into e-mails, or to post them on other sites without my permission. It is not cool for you to burn my CD for a friend (unless I told you otherwise). If you like what I've written, you should support it. I'm not being a jerk--that's copyright law.
6. The poems on this page will change. If you're looking for something in particular, shoot me an e-mail. I'm happy to e-mail poems to people so long as you promise to use them for good and not for evil.
These rules exist because the world is full of jerk-faced people. It is also full of gloriously kind people. Hopefully you are one of those.
